The band, led by David Newman, played a lively programme which included pieces from the Sound of Music and the Fire Bell Polka, by Josef Strauss.
Julia, who is a patron of the charity, will be guest of honour at the event being held at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday, May 14.
TV presenter Julia Bradbury will be the guest speaker at LOROS Hospice's annual ladies lunch this year.
"I started off thinking I would raise about £200 but it has gone mad. I am hoping it will be even more – it would be nice to get to £1,000."
