The training we provide
e-ELCA covers a range of themes, from clinical topics to communication skills and spiritual care.
The programme has been recommended as part of a blended learning approach by the ‘Training and Education in End of Life Care’ report, commissioned by HEE to review the efficacy of existing education and training resources on end of life care.
Professor Christina Faull, Consultant in Palliative Medicine and Research Lead at LOROS, is the National Clinical Lead for e-ELCA and has the key role of overseeing all of the learning content relating to end of life care.

In October 2016 a new e-ELCA session which brings together management of symptoms in the last days of life, was made available (session 04_23b). The session is most useful for Doctors and Nurses (especially nurse prescribers)
