Team ‘Mud Sweat and Beers’ completed the Farmageddon Challenge on Saturday 5th April 2014 and have so far raised a brilliant £1,149 for LOROS, with more donations still coming in!
LOROS is asking people to drop off decorated eggs to help the charity with its Easter tree.
Rock Kitchen Harris, in Lower Brown Street, Leicester, helped launch loros.co.uk as the last part of a strategy that has included display materials, patient leaflets, adverts and posters, allowing the hospice to highlight the work it carries out.
LOROS were thrilled to make it to the final three 'Not for Profit' companies at the Leicester Mercury Business Awards held on 3rd April at the Maher Centre in Leicester
Since their last update, the British Gas Complaints Team have coninued to increase their £50 on a daily basis.
We would like to wish huge congratulations to Teresa Walton who beamed with pride this week as she was awarded a British Empire Medal for her service to others.
The Twilight Walk is now a firm favourite in the calendar for LOROS and the route includes some of Leicester City hotspots. Volunteers are required to help amongst the route to make this a very safe and enjoyable evening.
