A message from Rob
I’m very pleased to let you know that Camilla Barrow will be joining LOROS as the Director of the Centre for Excellence. Camilla’s first day will be Thursday 1st February.
Camilla joins us from Birmingham Community Healthcare Foundation Trust where she was head of palliative care, and has recently developed a care home training academy for an NHS community healthcare Trust.
She has had a varied clinical career within palliative and EOL care including managing a day hospice service and developing a breathless clinic. She’s also worked as head of clinical education and research at Birmingham hospice.
She says: “I am passionate about sharing knowledge and expertise with others, to ensure all patients and carers have equitable access to high quality palliative and EOL care. I am thrilled to be joining such a research active hospice and truly believe the CfE is well positioned to be a leader in the UK and beyond. I’m excited and motivated for the future and looking forward to meeting everyone.”
