Bluestream update

A polite reminder that Unicorn should not be used:

  • Training records: Any training completed on Unicorn will not be transferred to your training record. You’ll need to retake those courses in Blue Stream.

  • Unicorn access: Please note that Unicorn will be disabled soon, as we’ve officially begun our ‘Offboarding’ process with them. This may take up to 30 days.

  • Potential costs: If Unicorn is used during this period, we could incur additional charges for the month. Blue Stream is a cost-effective solution, but using both platforms at the same time may mean we pay for both.

Blue Stream initial challenges:

  • Login issues: If you are unable to log in, please double-check your username. It is case-sensitive and is not your email address. If you need assistance, Natalie can resend your username.

  • Password reset: If you're still unable to log in, please use the ‘Forgotten Password’ feature to reset your password.

  • Ongoing i: If you're still having trouble, feel free to reach out to Natalie directly for further support.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Tracking your training: You can view your outstanding training via the Training Passport, which is located under the "Training Records" section in Blue Stream.

  • Training migration: Any training completed during the migration period (post-January 17) and other past training will be uploaded in the next two months. We appreciate your patience as we work through this backlog.

  • Probationary reviews: Reviews at 1, 3, and 5 months can be entered by your line manager or HR, under the HR tab > Performance > One to Ones. HR is currently reviewing this process.

  • Study leave requests: We are reviewing the Study Leave process, but in the meantime, we’ve returned to using paper forms. These must be signed by the line manager and then submitted to either the PDPs or the LPDC for reporting.
