Played at Birstall Golf club on the 7th July, the golf competition was kindly organised by the family and friends of Michael Potter who passed away in LOROS last September, aged 86.
Michael was a keen golfer himself, having been a member of the Birstall Golf Club for 59 years and so it was the perfect venue for the fundraising event.
104 competitors took part, from many local golf clubs and a whopping £3,200 was raised for LOROS throughout the day. There were some very creative team names and close scores too!
LOROS Fundraiser Emma wishes to thank thanks to all who helped make the day possible, the participators, prize donations, sponsors, family and friends who helped on the day and Birstall Golf Club.
