The 21st of May was this year's date for the LOROS Golf Day and the weather gods certainly were not on our side!!
What can only be described as torrential downpours throughout made for a very soggy days’ golfing, but the rain certainly didn’t dampen the spirit of our determined golfers! Despite the tough conditions presented at Rothley Park Golf Club, an incredible £20,879.40 was raised, a record amount for the event!
24 teams fought it out for the winning spot, the eventual winners were the “Birstall & Bramcote Bandits” who beat the team from Hamilton Woods Associates on countback with a score of -7. Hats off to everyone who carded a score given the real challenge that the course presented on the day.
