A 100 mile challenge (Joe Revill, pictured left), a colleague “taking on the tower” in LOROS’s Tower Run and a table full of donated gifts; it’s all in a year’s fundraising for the team at Coventry Building Society.
Despite the difficulties faced in 2020, the team at CBS just rolled up their sleeves, took in their stride and raised an amazing £6800 throughout the year! From a combination of donations from the company, staff fundraisers (and associated matched funding) and the generosity of their customers, the Humberstone Gate branch continue to show that you truly cannot stop a determined and passionate team.
The team have been supporting LOROS as their Community Partner since 2014, with Naseem Mulla (pictured right) also volunteering at the Hospice. Whilst this has proved difficult throughout the various lockdowns, Naseem continues to inspire and lead her team in their endeavours for LOROS which has led to a total of over £26,000 being raised by the branch in the last 7 years.
