Shanti and Kiran at Tesco Extra, Fosse Road North, very positively responded to our appeal for 1,000 mince pies to support Hospice Christmas activities including our Light Up a Life service through to our Christmas lunches for our patients.
Together with their Area Manager and one of the Tesco Directors they came to the Hospice on Thursday 5th December to donate the pies and take a tour around the Hospice.
Colin Hamilton, Tesco Convenience Store Director said: “Thank you very much for your time to show us around. It was incredibly humbling but also inspiring to see the work you do.”
We are very grateful for the sweet donation and the time they took out of their very busy day visiting the local Tesco stores. We look forward to working alongside them in the future.
