A team from Keepmoat homes lead by Peter Douglas have recently taken part in the Yorkshire 3 peaks.
Their challenge was to complete a circular walk climbing the three highest peaks in Yorkshire - Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, a total distance of 25miles that needs to be completed in 12hours (or less).
Peter said “Well we did it!!
"We managed to complete the walk in 11 hours, which was brilliant. The day went really well and was rounded off with a few beers and a curry”.
Emma Priest, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS, said: "The team raised over £1,600 and are continuing to support us in their workplace too.
"We would like to thank them for their very generous donation which could pay for 64 hours of care for one of our inpatients.
"We are looking forward to hearing what else they have planned."
