As part of their fundraising efforts for LOROS, who is their chosen Charity of The Year, Rock Kitchen Harris (RKH) challenged all the staff to run and cycle their way to Paris whilst staying in their office!
The office was split into five teams with the aim of collectively make it to Paris. As the colleagues can never pass up the opportunity for a bit of friendly office rivalry, it was decided that the team that contributed the most miles to the journey would be crowned overall winners and receive a prize (and the glory) - it was every team for themselves!
Magdalena Korytkowska, Partnership Development Lead at LOROS said: "This event was an amazing success for the RKH colleagues. They made it from their office in Leicester all the way to Paris over three working days, using our static triathlon service and raised an incredible £1,056.00 for the Hospice.
"Congratulations to team Bicykyle & Blisters who contributed a very impressive 87.46 miles to the total and won the team event.
"All donations towards our Hospice are hugely welcome and greatly appreciated, as an example, the money raised last week by RKH could pay for the cost of one of our specialist nurses for 10 days.
