Coventry Building Society branch in Leicester have been busy raising awareness about their partnership with LOROS whilst accumulating funds for the Hospice.
Magdalena Korytkowska, Partnership Development Lead at LOROS recently paid the branch a visit and was presented with two cheques; one for £250 was a match-giving donation to employee Steve’s Snowdon Challenge back in April and the other, for £860 from their community grant scheme, which will purchase four easy-clean overbed tables for our patients.
"We aim to provide our patients with two bedside tables each, one for their belongings and one for their meals. We believe that a positive hospice stay encompasses a truly holistic experience, whereby patients and their families feel they are in a safe home from home setting. Eating a meal on a separate table is imperative for maintaining a consistent routine and to minimise the risk of infection.
"I would like to say a massive thank you to the colleagues at Coventry Building Society for continuing to support LOROS and we are looking forward to a continued partnership with them in the future."
