Well done to our 14 survivalists for completing this year's "Into The Wild" challenge.
The challenge began on Friday evening when the teams were dropped off at an undisclosed location and essentially left to fend for themselves to build a shelter and start a fire before sundown which was fast approaching!
The next day saw them undertake six different challenges which including bug eating, rifle shooting and bow drilling, We're happy to say they all excelled themselves and managed to get through their challenges and earn some well-deserved rewards.
Faron Bloomfield, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS, said: "Our four teams were all brilliant over the course of the 36 hours, taking on challenges and learning new skills to survive away from the home comforts they are all so used to!
"A huge thank you to all of them for making the weekend one to remember; they should all be proud of the skills they learned and for surviving the full 36 hours."
