A massive well done to all of our excellent runners who took part in this year’s London Marathon.
The sun was definitely shining on them as the day proved to be the hottest London Marathon on record reaching 24.1 degrees!
Faron Bloomfield, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "Our runners reaped the rewards of their long hours of training as they all completed the course and we had the privilege of being at the marathon to cheer them all on!
"Currently, the runners have raised more than£46,000 which will make a real difference for the hospice.
"As an example, that could pay for the annual cost of us providing care on our ward for six patients and provide 800 meals - a huge thank you from all of us to all of you."
