It was the grand opening of the new Shipley’s on Silver Street and grand it was!
With stilt walkers, DJs and free refreshments for all the guests the Shilpley’s team created a fantastic atmosphere.
William Shipley, owner of Shipley’s organised a quiz with the one and only Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett for customers to have the chance to win £500 which was a real hit with the local community.
Shipley’s generously donated a whopping £1000 to LOROS. This makes a huge difference to the patients and families here at the Hospice and could pay for one of our specialist nurses for a week, a patient to attend our day therapy service AND 2 complimentary therapy sessions!
We would like to thank Will and the team, not only fo their kind and generous donation but for being so welcoming and allowing LOROS to be a part of their special day.
