Thank you to the 600 plus ladies that joined us in welcoming TV star Gloria Hunniford as this year's guest speaker at our annual Ladies Lunch.
She gave a heart-warming and emotional speech and we were overwhelmed when she pledged a £10,000 donation to the Hospice!
Glora said that the donation, from the Caron Keating Foundation, was what her daughter (Caron) would have wanted her to do in order to support such a fantastic charity. She also said that she knew we would use it well.
A massive thank you to Gloria, to LOROS patient Janet Cave who also gave a wonderful speech, and to all those who attended this year's event.
Every penny raised really will make a difference to our patients and their families.
