LOROS is very grateful for receiving some wonderful updates from this year's Accumulator Challengers who are in the second week of their three month fundraising challenge to grow £50 as much as possible.
Here are just a few of their updates and photographs:
Tokio Marine HCC have held their first event - a French breakfast - which went really well and raised just under £200. A great start and they have lots more in the pipeline, including a St George's Day breakfast and a Grand National Sweepstake.
Team Charlie still has 28 smartie tubes to be returned and have raised £486.17 so far for the Twilight Walk.
Highcross in Leicester are cracking on with their challenge. They have been selling sweets for a minimum donation of 50p per bag and are organising a bake sale this Friday. They have a calendar of events planned for the next few weeks.
Regent College have many events planned including a grand summer draw, tombola, a book & cake sale, Mendhi hand painting and some sporting activities.
Lea Edwards, Managing Director at Digital Magic Creative is asking as many people as possible to have a team photo taken at their business premises holding the £50 note that LOROS gave him. They will then receive some photo prints for a donation of their choice.
Fiona Rubdach from MJ’S Events, together with Leicester Speedway, are preparing for a “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory Fun Bingo & Fair”.
Ramada Encore, Leicester, held a raffle raising more than £60
Magda Korytkowska, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "I urge the LOROS Accumulator Challenge participants to keep me updated with their plans and achievements so that we can add them to our weekly update in this gallery; we love to hear what you are getting up to!
