What will I learn from this course?
This study day for registered health care staff aims to improve skills in providing compassionate personalised care for people in the last year of life. This day focuses on the 5 priorities for care of the dying person: recognising that someone is dying; communicating sensitively with them and their family; involving them in decisions; supporting them and their family; and creating an individual plan of care that includes adequate nutrition and hydration.
