“It’s something positive that I can focus my mind on during such a dark time. I know she’ll be smiling down on us all,” says Leah Reek’s mum who has entered this year’s LOROS Twilight Walk in memory of her daughter.
Local pubs, bars, cafes and even garden centres across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland are showcasing the pre-loved furniture that LOROS Hospice has to offer as part of their latest campaign.
Introducing a new LOROS Hospice challenge this year ‘The Mudnificent 7’, the UK’s most popular mud and obstacle race.
Since its launch in 2008, the account has now paid out a total of more than £125,000 to LOROS in Leicestershire, Mary Ann Evans Hospice and The Myton Hospices in Warwickshire. All three hospices serve families in Hinckley & Rugby’s heartlands.
Come one, come all, it’s the circus and carnival Twilight Walk this year for LOROS. Last year nearly 2,000 people took part, and this time round we’re hoping at least 2,500 will take part to match the amount of patients treated. Will you be one of them?

Last weekend was the third annual LOROS Tower Run, with record numbers of competitors stepping-up to the challenge. Nearly 400 people took part, which is more than double the figures from last year.
The hugely successful annual Golf Day for LOROS is now in its 12th year. The event takes place at Rothley Park Golf Club on 11th May.
