Manheim Auctions of Bruntingthorpe pulled out all the stops to raise money for county hospice charity LOROS and recently handed over a cheque for £5,030.
A team of volunteers from British Gas visited LOROS Hospice last week to lend a hand creating “Willy Wonka” inspired props to be used at The LOROS Golden Ticket Ball this Saturday 8th November.
As part of their Diwali celebrations the team from Barclays branch at Belgrave Road, Leicester, held a raffle in aid of LOROS which raised a fantastic £1,122.18. Barclays are donating a further £1,000, making a grand total of £2,122.18.

The sponsor, Cummins Solicitors, encouraged teams of 4 to dust off their trainers and get active in the name of local charity LOROS. The team relay is a part of the Leicester Marathon and more than 60 teams entered this year from businesses, schools and sports clubs.
