Two curry nights have helped raise £1,500 for LOROS.

The money was raised at Harrison Spice in Ratby, which hosted 270 diners over the two nights.

There was also a raffle, which raised about £200 for LOROS, a hospice which cares for people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Among the guests were Hinckley and Bosworth District Councillor Ozzy O'Shea and Bosworth MP David Tredinnick, both with their wives.

Debbie Dickman, LOROS fundraising Co-ordinator, said: "We are very grateful to the Harrison Spice team for selecting LOROS as its chosen charity for its curry nights this year.

"It was wonderful to join the guests and enjoy a delicious three-course dinner.

"The money raised during both of the nights make a real difference to the care we provide to terminally ill patients and their family members."
