Now is your chance to see your favourite celebrities pose in their pants thanks to the brand new and exciting ‘Undie-dogs’ Campaign, launched today by LOROS Hospice.
Inspired by Gary Lineker’s promise to present the first 'Match of the Day' next season in his pants, the campaign will see various celebrities striking their very own pants pose, if a target amount is raised for LOROS.
The likes of Hollyoaks star Charlie Clapham, former England and Leicester Tigers rugby player George Chuter, former England cricketer Paul Nixon, boxer Rendall Munroe and snooker player Willie Thorne, are the first to be revealed as those taking part, with plenty more names to come.
Speaking about the campaign, George Chuter said: “Inspired by Gary Lineker, I have decided to back the Undie-dogs campaign, despite the fact that he probably looks much better than me in his pants; I probably couldn’t fit into his pants, for a start.
“While being a little nervous about it, the fact that it will help raise money for a great charity makes it much more bearable.”
Through donations made via the campaign’s JustGiving page or by text, each of the celebrities will have a target fundraising amount, which must be met before you see them pose in their pants.
A number of organisations and sports teams have also signed up to the challenge, but with the campaign running for six weeks, they and other famous faces who have agreed to get involved will be revealed as the campaign develops.
“LOROS Hospice is a charity I have supported for many years. It offers fantastic support to families at the very hardest of times,” added George, who has agreed to pose in his pants when the campaign reaches £3,000.
“It is a pleasure for me to offer them support by taking part in the Undie-dogs Campaign, now all I ask is that everyone gets behind me and LOROS too, by donating.”
LOROS Fundraising Co-ordinator Dave Nicklin said that after months of planning, he is thrilled to finally see the launch of what promises to be a very exciting fundraising campaign for the Hospice.
“It’s been fantastic to see so many famous faces, organisations and sports teams are already so enthusiastic to get involved, but we still want more to sign-up,” added Dave.
“Gary Lineker is a Leicester legend and now we want as many people as possible become a LOROS legend and take part in this campaign.”
A number of specially made LOROS-branded boxers have been created and donated by Loughborough based company, Shreddies, for the celebrities to pose in.
