An amateur musical group in Ashby de la Zouch have raised £250 for LOROS.

Ashbeian Musical Theatre Group, who recently staged Cole Porter's 'Anything Goes' at The 400 Hall at Repton School, presented the money at the end of a show.

During their Wednesday evening performance, Rachel Hill, Relationship Development Lead at LOROS, was invited to accept a cheque for £250 for the Hospice.

Rachel said: "It was a pleasure to watch such a fantastic production and I was thrilled to be asked to accept their donation on behalf of LOROS.

This amount could pay for 10 hours of care for one of our inpatients so really will make a difference - thank you so much for your generosity."
