Friday 11th December saw Qdos start the Christmas celebrations by donning their best jolly Christmas jumpers.
We saw a variety of Santas, Rudolphs and snowmen along with flashing puddings, jingling bells, and musical snowflakes. Most jumpers had sequins and glitter just to add to the festive spirit.
Jolly Jumper Day was fun but there was a serious message with it. It was all in aid of raising funds for local charity LOROS. A total of £103 was raised by holding a raffle during the day.
LOROS Hospital is based in Leicester and cares for over 2,500 people across Leicestershire and Rutland. They provide specialised care for those over 18 years with complex problems who are suffering from a terminal illness when cure is no longer possible. Their services include an inpatient ward where the focus of care is to enhance the quality of life, counselling, family support services, outpatients and much more.
Earlier in the year Qdos employees ‘Stepped into Space’ raising over £1,640 for LOROS.
Qdos is no stranger to raising money for charity and has donated thousands over the years.
