This December LOROS Hospice is launching a brand new and exciting, fun for all the family campaign called ‘Crimbogram’.
Crimbogram, which will run throughout the month and into the New Year, is predominantly a social media campaign asking people to recreate an old photo and donate money to the Hospice.
It really is as simple as digging out an amusing, old photo, then recreating it as best you can and posting it on your social media pages, before donating £3 to LOROS by texting ‘CRIM30 £3’ to 70070. You then nominate three of your friends to do the same.
LOROS Fundraising Co-ordinator Dave Nicklin said: “This is a really fun campaign that all the family, as well as friends, can get involved with.
“It’s a great excuse to reminisce over good times and have a laugh with the people you love, while raising money for your local Hospice.
“Every £3 raised could contribute to paying for a patient’s meals this Christmas time.”
While participants can upload their photos to Facebook, those who do not use the social media channel could also use the Crimbogram JustGiving page
Dave added: “We’ve seen other charity campaigns really boom thanks to social media, including the Ice Bucket Challenge. We hope Crimbogram grows to be like this, with everyone and anyone getting involved.”

Those using their social media should use the hashtag ‘#Crimbogram2015’ when posting their Crimbogram photos.
