A celebrity fashion expert has given his backing to a regional daily’s charity campaign.
Gok Wan, pictured right, has lent his support to an appeal by the Leicester Mercury, which has joined forces with local hospice LOROS to celebrate the charity’s 30th anniversary.
Readers are being urged to with raise £30 or complete 30 activities to mark the occasion.
Gok, best known for presenting Channel 4 show How to Look Good Naked, has posted his support of the campaign on his website.
He wrote: “This month I want to shout out LOROS hospice – a great local charity that cares for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
“They provide free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their families and carers.
“LOROS hospice has been supporting families for 30 years, and to celebrate they are holding a 30 for 30 campaign throughout September where they want you to help the hospice by doing 30 things, or raising £30.”
The campaign, called 30 For 30, is ongoing throughout the month of September.
