On Friday 7th August Magdalena Korytkowska was presented, on behalf of LOROS, with a 4k Ultra HD Upscaling Blu-ray Player from Panasonic and four films.

This very kind donation from Panasonic was secured for LOROS by Currys based in Fosse Park, Leicester.

Magdalena, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: “We are very grateful to Chris Salt, a duty manager at Currys, for approaching Panasonic on our behalf. The Blue-ray player will be used as one of the prizes for the Great Glen Wheelbarrow Race and Summer Fete Raffle which will be drawn on 5th September. We would like to thank Panasonic for their generosity.”

Chris Salt added, “It was a great experience for me to deal with Panasonic and to receive such a marvellous response from them. We have selected LOROS as our chosen local charity and it’s fantastic to be able to make a difference to this wonderful cause.

"The Currys Team is looking forward to our next step which is a tandem skydiving challenge; we are going to raise money individually and as a team.”

LOROS would like to invite more businesses to support our fundraising events by donating goods and prizes. If you can help and would like to raise awareness about your brand please contact the LOROS Fundraising Department on (0116) 231 8431/2 or email fundraising@loros.co.uk
