Savers with deposits in Hinckley & Rugby Building Society's Hospice Affinity Account have raised £16,350 to be shared between three hospices in Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

Diane Morris, Fundraising Manager at LOROS, which cares for people from Leicestershire and Rutland, said: "We are so grateful for the continued support of Hinckley & Rugby and its savers. With more than £20,000 donated just to LOROS over the years, this account makes a tremendous difference."

Sophie Hancock, Hinckley & Rugby Customer Assistant, added: "The credit must go to our savers who choose in their hundreds to put their money in the affinity account, knowing that doing so generates many thousands of pounds each year for such valued hospices."
