Fashion event, LOROS Fashion Show, in aid of the LOROS Hospice will be hosting its fifth annual fashion showcase on March 7 at the Athena in Leicester.
All the money raised from the event will go towards helping the LOROS charity which cares for more than 2,500 people across Rutland, Leicester and ?Leicestershire.
The hospice provides free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their families and carers.
The catwalk show organised by LOROS Ambassadors, Charlotte Thompson and Imogen Cox from Leicester, will feature more than 21 well-known fashion brands including Joules, Scotney’s, G-Star and Hot Mess.
Alongside the fashion show will be giveaways and discount vouchers for all 21 brands involved, tons of ‘brilliant’ raffle prizes and a gift tree with a guaranteed prize every time. Plus a local Blues band playing live, along with food from Wistow Bistro and ‘amazing’ cocktails from 33 Cank Street.
Organiser, Charlotte said: “It’s inspirational to bring so many people together and create such an amazing night for an awesome cause, this is the fifth year and it’s going to be the best yet.
“What I lovely is that it’s such a positive event that services such an amazing charity. It’s young and funky and helps to bring the work of the charity into people’s minds.
“It’s something I’m extremely passionate about and I couldn’t do it without the fantastic effort put in by everyone involved.”
Joint organiser, Imogen adds: “The show is becoming bigger and better each year and this year we want to raise as much money as we can for LOROS.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy themselves, there is something for everyone and all the money raised it going towards a good cause.
“It really is a great spectacle and it’s an amazing venue for the show, with the bespoke catwalk.”
Doors will open at the Athena at 5pm so there’s plenty of time to shop, enjoy a bite to eat or to have some cocktails before the fashion show starts at 7.30pm. Live music will start from ?9.30pm.
