An annual music event involving several jazz bands playing traditional, New Orleans and modern jazz has helped raise vital funds in support of LOROS Hospice and to fight prostate cancer.
More than 150 people attended the 11th annual event which took place at the Musician, in Clyde Street, Leicester in January.
The organisers raised an amazing £1,800 at this even and means they have raised well in excess of £11,000 since they began fundraising 11 years ago.
Adrian Walker, Senior Fundraiser at LOROS said: "We are delighted that Stuart Battle and the jazz bands continue to support our Hospice - they have already announced the date for next year’s event which will be on Sunday 24th January.
"We believe everyone at the end of life deserves free access to compassionate and personalised care and we can only provide that with the continued support of our wonderful fundraisers and the very big-hearted local community.
"Our share of this very generous donation could pay for the running of the charity for one whole hour. Your generosity really does make a difference - thank you."
