10 ways to support LOROS this Christmas

There are lots of ways in which your organisation can support LOROS this Christmas.

We have listed just a few of the events you could participate in and, at the same time, raise much needed funds for your local hospice.

Go on - give at least one of them a try. Whatever you raise, will help someone who will need our help this Christmas

  1. Give your time - Is your company looking to do some volunteering before Christmas? We have lots of opportunities for your team to get involved this festive season.

  2. LOROS Group Christmas Card - Instead of sending cards round the office, request a LOROS group Christmas card which you can hang on the office wall for everyone to sign and make a donation to LOROS instead

  3. LOROS Jolly Jumper Day - Get that warm feeling inside by participating in LOROS' Jolly Jumper Day. Choose a day in December to wear your favorite festive jumper and donate money to LOROS.

  4. Christmas Cake Competition - Host a Christmas Cake competition in the office. A representative from LOROS will gladly come along to judge the entries!!

  5. LOROS Christmas Cuddlies - Do you have a counter/reception where you could sell Christmas novelties in aid of LOROS?

  6. Give a LOROS Lottery Gift Subscription - Struggling to buy for that one person who has absolutely everything? Why not purchase a LOROS Lottery Subscription and give them the chance of winning up to £2,000 per week.

  7. Santa Dash - Participate in the LOROS Santa Dash. 1 mile run (4 laps of the track), walk or toddle around Saffron Lane Athletics Track in your Santa or festive fancy dress! We all know we are going to over indulge this festive period,so sign up to take part in the LOROS Santa Dash and you will feel less guilty about that second mince pie.

  8. LOROS Winter Walk - Walk off that last turkey sandwich at the LOROS Winter Walk on Saturday 2rh December. A five mile walk starting from Houghton on the Hill.

  9. Christmas Clear Out - Unfortunately,there always tends to be one or two gifts we receive at Christmas that we have no use for, why not organize a day to bring in all of your unwanted items which can then be donated to LOROS to sell in one or our 25 shops throughout Leicester,Leicestershire and Rutland.

1O. New Year Challenge - Tired of making the same old resolutions year in,year out? This New Year why not really stretch yourself and take on a LOROS Challenge? We have everything from space missions to the moon to motorbike rides through the foothills of the Himalayas!
