A marketing seminar designed to help companies better understand the world of social media for business has brought the total amount raised by The Ideal Marketing Company for LOROS Hospice to £2,200 over the past 12 months. Local business owners and managers attended the social media seminar at The Waterfront Restaurant, Market Harborough.
The event was hosted by social media expert Jessica Shailes, head of digital Marketing at The Ideal Marketing Company. The event offered insights into the latest trends in social media, and how these could be incorporated into the marketing of businesses in a variety of different industries.
Attendee Michael Ingram, Director at Harborough-based Doro Tape said: “It was a very informative session, and one that I would recommend to everyone, no matter how experienced they are.”
The seminar is the third run by The Ideal Marketing Company this year, and pushes their total raised from the three events for LOROS past the £2000 mark.
The Ideal Marketing Company managing director Alastair Campbell: “We’re really pleased with the success of our seminars this year, and that this has allowed us to donate such a substantial amount to a worthy cause.”
The next seminar will again be at The Waterfront Restaurant, on January 22.
Tickets will cost £50, with the money raised being donated to LOROS.
