Asda employees climb for LOROS and Rainbows

Last week LOROS received an amazing donation from three fantastic ASDA IDC Lutterworth employees.

Jayanti Mistry, Pravin Jadeja and Jitesh Raval walked 74 miles along the Great Glenway from Fort Williams to Inverness and the money they raised has been split between LOROS and Rainbows.

Jayanti said: “I have a vested interest in the kind of work LOROS does as we lost our son to Leukaemia. At Asda IDC, where I work, I found some keen walkers and we not only did the Great Glenway Walk but also climbed Ben Nevis. We had a great time and met many interesting people of all ages and nationalities.”

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: “It was a great pleasure to meet Jayanti and receive this kind donation from him, his colleagues and Asda IDC, who supported their employees’ effort. The fantastic £555.00 received could pay for a Community Nurse Specialist visit for five of our patients in their homes, as well as a Specialist Complementary Therapy session for a patient or a member of their family. I do hope that this example illustrates what a wonderful difference Jayanti, Jitesh and Pravin have made to LOROS. I would like to thank them for their amazing support.”
