PwC in the East Midlands visits the Hospice

On Friday, 10th October, Julie Skelly (left) and Simon White from PwC in the East Midlands visited LOROS in order to see how their support helped us to help others.

Earlier this year the PwC team organised a quiz charity night in aid of LOROS, which raised £3350. This equates to the cost of a LOROS nurse looking after our patients for nearly five weeks. It is just an example to illustrate what a wonderful difference a fundraising event can make to our patients and their families.

Julie Skelly from PwC in the East Midlands said: “It was fantastic to see around the Hospice and learn more about this amazing charity. We were very impressed by the building, services and the LOROS staff. We look forward to supporting LOROS in the future.”

Alex Gamble, Partnership Development Executive at LOROS, said: “We felt very honoured having Julie and Simon on site. It was lovely to show them our services and the help we provide to 2,500 patients and their families. We are very grateful to all the team at PwC in the East Midlands for their continued support and we believe that our partnership will be beneficial for both sides. It’s fantastic that they decided to help us to help others.”
