A national ‘Hospice care week’ on Monday, October, 6 is being held to raise the profile of care across the country.
LOROS, the hospice for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland needs your help to participate.
The hospice is opening certain areas up to invited guests and members of the general public on Friday and Saturday, October, 10 and 11.
Local artists are required to showcase and display some of their work as part of an art exhibition on the day.
The charity wants artists to donate any paintings, works of art, prints, photographs or sculptures either on a part or total donation basis.
Any donations will be used to help LOROS continue to provide care and services to patients and their families free of charge.
The exhibition will also feature art work completed by LOROS patients who attend the Day Therapy Unit.
It is hoped the event will help LOROS raise awareness of the important work that hospices do and help to raise the profile of up and coming artists.
