Cash boost for LOROS

A CHARLIE and the Chocolate Factory themed fundraiser was held to raise money for the charity LOROS.

Mike and Julie Collett dressed up as Willy Wonka and an Oompa Loompa in Loughborough’s Carillon Court Shopping Centre.

The pair managed to raise an impressive £317.94 for LOROS, a charity that they have supported since Julie’s sister, Christine, passed away five years ago.

Since 2011, Julie and Mike have raised nearly £5,000 with the help and support of their family, particularly Christine’s husband Terry.
