Twelve students from English Martyrs’ Catholic School are taking part in the LOROS Accumulator Challenge 2014. With less than two weeks to go before the challenge ends they have already achieved so much to be proud of.
Cheryl Procter, Student Support from English Martyrs’ Catholic School said: “I am pleased with what we have achieved so far. For example one group of students organised an eco day where they were helping staff, who in turn pledged money for their support, in clearing things away, litter picking, cleaning tables etc. It was fun; a couple of them even organised a danceathon during their lunch hour which was well supported.”
Magdalena Korytkowska, Partnership Development Assistant at LOROS said: “Looking at young people engaged in fundraising activities is very inspirational. We are excited to see how much the students have raised and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them all for being part of something amazing – helping us to enhance the quality of life of patients for whom curative treatment is no longer possible and their families.”
The LOROS Accumulator Challenge 2014 ends on 11th of June. Watch this space to find out who raised the most money and which challenge was judged the most innovative.
