Traders have given away shopping vouchers to support a charity.
Workers at Leicester Market's food hall donated £170 of vouchers in support of Hospice Care Week and LOROS Hospice.
City mayor Peter Soulsby said: "So many people and their families have been supported by LOROS through very difficult times and I hope we can all give them the recognition and support they need and deserve."
Hospice Care Week, which ran last month, aimed to raise the profile of hospice care across the UK.
Last month, representatives from LOROS took to Market Square, in Leicester, to tell shoppers more about their work.
On the day, anyone who signed up to receive news from LOROS was entered into a free prize draw to win the shopping vouchers.
Food hall trader Adie Lee, of butchers Frank Lee & Sons, said: "I've supported LOROS over the years, so once I heard the charity wanted to come down to the market, I was more that happy to donate shopping vouchers. I hope that lots of people signed up to find out more about the charity."
