Staff at a school are hoping to put on a show-stopping performance for a cause close to their hearts.
Teachers at English Martyrs Catholic School, in Beaumont Leys, Leicester, have written their own version of Cinderella.
They will take to the stage over the next few days to perform it in front of students, parents, fellow staff and pupils from nearby primary schools.
Donations raised throughout the panto's run will go to LOROS hospice.
Deputy head teacher Andy Hunt, who helped write the script, said: "There's going to be a big comedy element to this and we've tweaked the tale so the three sisters are good characters and the step-mum is the main villain.
"Staff have been practising hard and are pretty excited about getting up on the stage.
"There may be a few nerves, but we hope to raise in the region of £1,000 for the hospice, so it should all be worth it."
