At a time when many businesses are being accused of greed, a Leicestershire company is doing its bit to help change those perceptions.
Premier Logistics (UK) has decided to share its success with a charity.
For every pallet it delivers the company, in Meridian Business Park, near Braunstone, will donate 20p to hospice charity LOROS.
The company has raised £2,443 since the scheme began on October 1 and aims to get to at least £7,000 by December 21, when it ends.
"Over the next couple of months we want to raise around £7,000, but it would be great to get to £10,000."
Part of the Ellistown-based Pall-Ex pallet network, Premier Logistics covers Leicestershire, south Nottinghamshire and north Warwickshire. It is now the biggest in-putter to the Pall-Ex network.
"It would be nice to have some support from the local business who also want to raise money for LOROS," said Mr Steel.
