On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October the fourth annual art and craft fair took place in the Syston Community Centre.

There was a good turnout on both days, with people doing a little early Christmas shopping.

The four halls of the community centre were filled with a lot of different crafts. They included mirrors decorated with dominoes between the mirror and the frame, tonttu a Finnish traditional Christmas character as well as hand made jewellery, paper flowers, cakes, clothing, unusual items such as bags made from zips to more conventional art works.

All the art and crafts were of an exceptionally high standard and gave lots of ideas for presents, whether for friends or family or even as a treat for yourself.

The event raised a superb £867 for LOROS.
