Former Tigers player Tim Stimpson joined villagers for a charity pram race. He went along to present prizes at the annual event in Great Glen, which raises money for LOROS – but decided it looked so much fun he would take part as well.
More than a dozen competitors lined up for the adult race which saw them hurtle along a mile-long route through the village. The winners were Sam Beckett and Alex Kelly.
Children also took part in a separate competition on the recreation ground.
Organiser Andy Williamson said: "We had some new faces this year and a lot of spectators lining the route to watch it.
"Tim Stimpson was so impressed that he wanted to do it as well, so he joined in, which was great fun."
Money collected from donations is still being counted.
