LOROS Hospice was delighted to join forces with Derbyshire Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce to host a Pure Networking Evening on the 2nd September.
The informal atmosphere of Pure Networking events is a great way of putting everyone at their ease, enabling them to gain maximum benefit from their attendance.
Delegates were welcomed to the Hospice where they received a drink and canapés followed by a gentle ice breaker to help get the conversations flowing.
An elevator speech then gave our guests the opportunity to get the unique selling points of their businesses across to other attendees.
The event was extremely well supported by local businesses which included; 4C Software Ltd, Aspire Achieve Advance, Basic Business Systems Ltd, Costco Wholesale, DBS Managed Office Services, EngageM, Evoke Telecom Services Ltd, F A Simms & Partners Limited, Gateley LLP, Go Travel Solutions, Howes Percival LLP, IBD East Midlands, JLT Specialty Limited, JSW Insurance Services Limited, Local World, Market Harborough Building Society, Mattioli Woods, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Print 4 Ltd, Prostaid, RDZ PR Ltd, Smallman & Son Limited, Soothill Ward professional services marketing consultancy, Travel Right Holidays, True Potential Wealth Management, Unified Perspective, University of Leicester, Vanilla Recruitment (UK) Limited and WORK FIT.
LOROS Chief Executive, Simon Proffitt provided delegates with a brief overview of LOROS and the care we provide to 2,500 local terminally ill patients and their families each year. Tours of the Hospice also took place and helped to provide a greater insight into LOROS and the services we afford the people of Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland.
Alex Gamble, Partnership Development Executive at LOROS said, “LOROS loved having the opportunity to showcase the amazing facilities which we offer, free to patients and their families. We are very grateful to DNLCC for giving us this fantastic opportunity to host their event, and would like to say thank you to everyone who attended. We were touched that most of the delegates were deeply interested in LOROS’ work. You are very welcome to visit us again in order to discuss thoroughly what we can achieve together in the future.”
