Once a year, Market Harborough town centre is turned into a beach so that residents and visitors can enjoy a bit of the seaside, even in the Midlands. This year's event took place over 5 days in early August and was supported once again by the Market Harborough Building Society.
The Society handed out buckets and spades free of charge and in return, accepted donations for LOROS. They also ran a competition for the most interesting sand castle and some fantastic prizes were awarded.
LOROS - as the Society's chosen Charity of the Year - were also on site to hand out leaflets and chat to people about the wide range of facilities they provide for patients with terminal illnesses.
Alex Gamble, Partnership Development Executive at LOROS said, "We would like to say a big thank you to Market Harborough Building Society for including us in this event - it is very much appreciated.
"It was a fantastic opportunity for LOROS to raise awareness about the care we provide and the support we need from the community to raise vital funds for our patients and their families.
